Where do the rates come from and how often do they update?
It shows an indicative India rate worked out from the live international spot price plus standard India import duty and GST, refreshed through the day. It is a clear indicative figure, not the official trade rate, which varies by city and jeweller. The widget updates on its own, you never have to touch it.
Will it slow my site down?
No. It loads in an isolated frame with lazy loading, so it does not block your page and has no effect on your own code or speed.
Can I change the look?
