Scammed in Singapore: where to report it
If you are in Singapore and think you have been cheated, call the ScamShield Helpline and tell your bank straight away.
Still talking to them? Stop replying. Do not send more money, codes or passwords. In an emergency, call 999.

What to do in the first hour
- Stop paying. Do not send more money or codes.
- Call your bank using the number on your card or in their official app.
- Call the ScamShield Helpline on 1799. The Singapore Police Force page says it runs 24/7 if you are unsure whether something is a scam.
- File a police report and secure your accounts. ScamShield's guidance lists: contact your bank, file a police report, secure your accounts and report to platform administrators.
- Keep evidence. Save messages, receipts and screenshots.
Police hotline
The Singapore Police Force lists a Police Hotline on 1800 255 0000 for crime-related information, and 999 for police emergencies.

If someone offers to get your money back for a fee
We cannot recover money, and we do not charge anyone. A person who contacts you offering to get lost money back, especially for an advance fee, is a common second step in scams. Report that person too.
