Cheated online in India: who to report it to

If you are in India and you think you have been cheated online, start with the national helpline or the national portal. Both belong to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Who handles what

National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in). The national place to report cyber crime, with sections for financial fraud, crimes related to women and children, and other cyber crime. Run under the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C).
Report Suspect and Suspect Repository. Lets you report or look up website links, WhatsApp numbers, Telegram handles, phone numbers, email IDs, SMS headers and social media links.
Your bank or card company. They can block your card, account or UPI. Always use the number on your card or in the bank's own app.
